Encryption

One of the more professional-sounding unsigned bands to emerge in quite some time, Encryption's style is midway between Gothenburg-style melodic death metal and Euro power metal, retaining the complex rhythms of the former and the vocals and clean guitar work of latter (though thankfully the vocals are not of the overly upbeat, anthemic variety). By staying in the middle of the two genres the band has a bit of a unique sound to them, which should bode well for the future. Why they aren't signed yet is a mystery. They have not released an album since 2000, but apparently they are still active in one form or another, though recent information is hard to come by.
