Esqarial

Esqarial is one of several bands comprising a healthy Polish death metal scene, and while they aren't as brutal as, say, Vader, they are one of the better death bands to come from that country, balancing crunchy riffing with a keen sense of technicality while still writing good songs. After three solid albums released between 1999 and 2002, the band made an interesting and bold move for their next project, hiring noted vocalist Grzegorz Kupczyk from one of Poland's old guard, Turbo, as a guest singer. The resulting album, Klassika, shows a very different side to the band, as not only are the vocals completely non-death, the songs themselves are more rooted in traditional metal rather than their regularly adventurous death style.
