Handsome
With guitarists spending time in bands such as
Helmet and
Quicksand
(and the rhythm section playing in hardcore bands
Murphy's Law and Cro-Mags),
it shouldn't come as a surprise to learn that Handsome's sound
is rooted in the post-alternative, post-grunge world of
hard rock/metal.
With some diverse songwriting on display, and some standout tracks
such as "Eden Complex" and the ultra-heavy "Lead Bellied",
it seemed as though the band might have a bright future.
It appears, however, that the band broke up some time ago.
