Körgull The Exterminator

Any Voivod fan will recognize this band's name, as it's the opening track off Rrroooaarrr, Voivod's second album from 1986. And sure enough, there's plenty of Voivod-isms on display here, at least if 2013's Metal Fist Destroyer is anything to go by. Mind you, this is early Voivod worship, so it's messy thrash with a someone more blackened vocal take from Lilith, even though she often sings in a similar style to Snake, albeit a somewhat higher-pitched, unhinged version of him. Destroyer is somewhat one-note, the songs pretty much all are rapid-fire with plenty of riffing and frenzied drumming, but it's still pretty entertaining.
