King Buffalo

As heard on Regenerator (the third of an apparent trilogy of albums all released in 2021), New York's King Buffalo slot vaguely into the stoner rock category, but rather than the in-your-face style of, say, Fu Manchu or Kyuss, these guys play a more open, breezy, form of desert rock, still with plenty of great stoner-style riffs but with an improvisational feel that almost drifts into prog metal at times. It makes for easy listening, not in the traditional sense of that phrase, but in that the songs timelessly and effortlessly drift by, washing over the listener in the best way possible.
