Margarita Witch Cult

Great band name, great debut album cover, and the style is what one might guess from their monicker -- it's more stoner metal, this time from Great Britain. Plenty of fuzzy guitars and riffs, with vocals strongly evoking fellow Brit stoners Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats, though even with a short runtime there's a bit more breadth than the usual stoner fare, with some tunes slowing to a doom crawl where others speed up with some NWOBHM stylings. A worthy addition to the Heavy Psych roster, Margarita Witch Cult scratches the stoner itch quite nicely.
