Silver Talon
Silver Talon is one of two bands to emerge from the dissolution
of the promising but shortlived Portland act
Spellcaster
(the other is
Unto Others).
The three bands shared plenty of members but surprisingly are a bit more
distinct from each other than one might expect.
This band is closer to later Spellcaster, opting for a potent thrashy
power metal style, with impressive Warrel Dane-ish vocals from
Wyatt Howell.
This should be a band to keep an eye on.
