Solitude
One has to figure there are several bands called Solitude out there,
particularly since it's a natural name for a doom band.
This Solitude was not a doom band, but instead played a form of
80's-ish thrash, somewhere along the lines of, say,
Flotsam & Jetsam.
The band formed back in 1984 and released three demos before
signing to Red Light Records and releasing
From Within --
unfortunately, the label's demise also signalled the end of the
band, who broke up soon after the album's release in 1995.
In their short career they managed to attract a strong local
following along the East Coast, but major success was not in the
cards for them.
They did briefly reform in 2009 for a reunion show.
