Counting Hours
Formed in 2015, Counting Hours features a former and a current
guitarist from
Rapture
(though current may not be accurate, as Rapture hasn't recorded
in 20 years and is listed as on hold), with a debut coming out
in 2020 and the followup,
The Wishing Tomb, in 2024.
The style here mixes melodic death metal with some doomdeath and
a touch of goth rock, so Rapture themselves is a starting point
for comparison, but also early
Katatonia
and somber/melancholic Scandinavian semi-doom bands like
Dawn Of Solace.
