Solution .45
Solution .45 debuted in 2010 with
Aeons Past, featuring a prototypical
modern detal metal formula.
Well-travelled vocalist Christian Älvestam excelled here, with seamless
transitions to deathly growls and screams to quite competant cleans.
Elsewhere, there's the typically crystal-clear modern Scandinavian
production that keeps everything in check, and to their credit there
are some influences from outside the melodic death scene to keep things
interesting.
Two more albums were released in 2015 and 2016, and then they went on
hold for a time before regrouping but never recording again, eventually
formally announcing their disbandment in June 2024.
