Black Sites

Black Sites is a Chicago-based band founded by guitarist (and now sole original member) Mark Sugar, with three well-received albums released in 2017, 2019, and 2021. While they are strongly influenced by 80's traditional metal, they aren't a retro act, as they have a clear modern edge and some progressive tendencies that keep them from sounding stale. Class is the name of the game here -- Black Sites oozes class, from the compositions to the musicianship to the production. They embody modern classic heavy metal.

Recent album: The Promised Land?, released on September 6, 2024.
