Coffinworm
Bleak, harrowing, doomy sludge is what's on offer
on
IV.I.VIII, the second (and, apparently, last)
album from this aptly-named band out of Indiana.
To the band's credit, some death and black influences creep in
here and there, giving the songs a bit more depth, and bonus
points for some inventive song titles.
It appears they disbanded in 2016.
