Frankenshred
The word "shred" in the band name is a dead giveaway to what might be
found here -- sure enough, there are shredding guitar solos in abundance.
The band's first two albums were in fact entirely instrumental
guitarfests, while on
Cauldron Of Evil a vocalist was recruited
(actually two, as the album was recorded at two different times with
different lineups).
Cauldron has the band in overdrive, more speed metal than thrash,
with the guitars of one Dr. Frankenshred taking center stage of course.
This is the kind of stuff that appeared on
Shrapnel
Records back in the day.
Guitar hero fans rejoice, the Doctor has major guitar chops and is
not afraid to display them.
