Gorod

This French death metal band, orginally going by the name of Gorgasm, debuted in 2004 with Neurotripsicks, but soon realized that another band went by that name (the Chicago band Gorgasm), and so they changed name to Gorod. The Neurotripsicks album was re-released by Willowtip under their new name, and since then they've released a string of albums harnessing their blend of brutal and technical death metal. On recent efforts such as 2015's A Maze Of Recycled Creed the technical side is seeing an uptick, as there's quite an array of dizzying twisted riffs on display, really making for a exhaustive listen.
