A glance at Haunt's discography reveals that this is one of the more
prolific recording bands in recent times, averaging more than one album
a year including three in 2020 alone.
Wavering between a true one-man-does-it-all solo project
and a proper band,
Trevor William Church and sometimes-crew presumably have nothing better
to do than crank out enjoyable, bright, classic 80's-inspired metal.
The songs are catchy, the guitar riffs crunchy, and Church's vocals
(clear and melodic but with a relaxed, unpolished feel) wrap up the package
effectively.
Of course this isn't groundbreaking stuff, this has been in vogue
for decades though to be fair Haunt isn't cloning any one band or style),
it does make for a good listen and this is another no-brainer for
80's-influenced metal fans.
