Pain Confessor
Founded in 2002, the Finnish band Pain Confessor slots nicely
into the crowded field of melodic death metal, with their style
perhaps a tad more aggressive than the usual players in the field.
The vocals are mostly harsh save for some of the choruses, where
a passable clean style is used.
The riffs are standard for the genre,
though the keyboards (mostly in a secondary/atmospheric role)
add a touch of uniqueness.
These guys don't really stand out from the pack, but they are
solid within the melodic death genre.
