Boasting one of the stranger names in metal, Pissing Razors
debuted in 1996 with the rare independently-released
Psycho Punko Metal Groove before signing to
a couple of years later, the band going on to record a total
of six studio albums plus a live effort.
Musically they were squarely in the
camp of modern, aggressive post-thrash metal
and early Machine Head),
a style popularized
in the late nineties and beyond.
After recording quite steadily from 1996 to 2003, they disappeared
from the scene and were unheard from until late 2014, when the
original lineup announced a reformation with a new album and tour in 2015.
