Sabbrabells
The Japanese metal scene of the eighties was actually quite
healthy, though only some
(
Loudness,
Anthem,
Earthshaker)
ever released anything outside their country.
Sabbrabells was one of those who didn't, managing a middling
career in Japan but relegated to little-known cult status outside.
Their style wasn't radically different from the aforementioned
bands, and in particular their vocalist, though somewhat higher-pitched
than others, had that classic intonation that seemlingly
every singer from Japan has.
