Susperia

Susperia was conceived in 1998 by friends Tjodalv (then in Dimmu Borgir) and Cyrus, with the project shifting into full gear following Tjodalv's departure from Dimmu in 1999. Several of the band members have black metal heritage, and there is a clear black metal influence in their style, but their style is more a black/thrash blend. There are definite old thrash riffs mixed in, and vocalist Athera sings in several styles, sometimes in the typical black rasp, other times clean. Their latest release is Cut In Stone, released in April 2007.
