V8

V8 was the first of three popular Argentinian bands featuring bassist Ricardio Iorio, who later went to Hermética and after that, Almafuerte. These guys only lasted a few years, breaking up in 1987, though most of the band (without Iorio) reunited in 1996 to play a show commemorating the first Metal Rock Festival -- that show was recorded and released as Homenaje. Comparing this band to Iorio's other two, V8 was the rawest and also the most traditional in style, his bands later moving more in a thrash direction.
