Broken Hope

Formed by guitarist Jeremy Wagner in 1988, Broken Hope forged a mid-level career in the gore/death metal field, recording five albums between 1991 and 1999 before the usual lineup issues and such forced the band into hiatus in 2000, with Wagner forming Lupara and three other members creating Em Sinfonia. Eventually the trio of Wagner, Shaun Glass, and Joe Ptacek broached the subject of a reunion, but Ptacek's passing in early 2010 delayed that reformation. Wagner and Glass eventually did revive Broken Hope in 2012, and two albums, continuing in their old style, have since been released.
