Dogs With Jobs

Dogs With Jobs was the band formed by Gord Kirchin, the vocalist of the infamous Piledriver, and originally the material was supposed to be a continuation of that band (and as such, may or may not be considered as simply a new version of said band). Except for the vocals, the two bands really don't sound a lot alike, as Dogs With Jobs played straightforward thrash with very humorous lyrics. Payday is the better of the two, featuring better guitarwork, better songwriting (Shock, though not bad at all, was a bit simplistic) and a much better production. Good stuff, especially the lyrics! Eventually Kirchin put this band to rest and later recruited new members to comprise a reformed Piledriver.
