Engine
Engine was a solo project of
FaWa
vocalist Ray Alder,
formed in 1999 as an creative outlet during one of Fates' down
times.
With two other Fates cronies in tow, one might expect at least a
passing resemblance to Alder's main band, but that's not the case
here.
Instead, as heard on the self-titled debut,
Engine was a modern, groove-oriented power metal band,
slightly leaning toward the non-rap side of nu-metal.
A second album,
Superholic, was put out in 2002 but presumably
the project is long since discontinued.
