Burning Point
Finland has produced no shortage of quality power metal acts over the
years, with the trio
Sonata Arctica,
Stratovarius,
and
Nightwish
arguably leading the pack.
Burning Point falls in the second division of such bands --
with 7 albums recorded from their 2001 debut to their 2016
effort
The Blaze, the band doesn't match up in terms of popularity
originality (and likely never will),
yet they can still turn a head or two with their brand of
typical Euro power metal mixed with a bit of melodicness and flair.
Europeans have had an insatiable appetite for this kind of metal
for decades now, and bands like Burning Point continue to fill that need.
