Sinsaenum

This is a rather odd side project, with the guitarist from DragonForce deciding to realize a long-time goal of forming an extreme metal band, roping in (among others) former Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison and a noted black metal vocalist in Atilla Csihar to help out. The eventual result, 2016's Echoes Of The Tortured, (the only full-length, though several EPs have been put out as well) is a sort of death/black hybrid, arguably a shade on the generic side despite solid musicianship across the board (perhaps that's why they felt the need to sprinkle in no less than 10 minute-ish interludes). The album seemed to fly a bit under the radar given the advance publicity, but there's certainly room for growth.
