Wuthering Heights

Danes Wuthering Heights debuted in 1999, but the band existing for a decade prior, undergoing various mutations and name changes (formerly going by Angelica, Minas Tirith, and Vergelmir). As heard on 2006's The Shadow Cabinet, the band plays a bombastic, rollicking form of progressive-laced Euro power metal, with strong throaty vocals and plenty of speedy riffs and soloing. They took a break from 2011 to 2016 due to health issues surrounding leader Eric Ravn, but as of this writing are still active.
