Howling Sycamore
Well, this is a strange collection of musicians.
Pairing tech-death drumming maestro Hannes Grossmann and
former
Ephel Duath
guitarist Davide Tiso may not be that shocking, but
Jason McMaster
(Dangerous Toys,
Watchtower)
on vocals
is going to throw everyone for a loop.
And if that wasn't enough, why not toss in a sax guy?
Enter
Yakuza's
Bruce Lamont.
If this all sounds a bit strange, it is.
It's not completely over-the-top, as musically this falls into the
techy extreme metal camp, though McMaster's 80's hard rock vocals make for
an odd fit, even though he's still got a fine, commanding voice.
An interesting collaboration to say the least.
